Let’s be honest, socially, drinking juice isn’t really encouraged (apart from breakfast, of course.) But personally, I think it should be. I think, at parties, just like vodka is the norm, juice should be the recognized alternative. That if you’re holding a glass of orange juice, you’ve made your choice for the night.
People say wine makes everything better, but I say it’s juice. Wine slows you down. Calms you. Helps you let loose and enjoy what’s around you. But in this generation, we need juice. Juice here embodies colour, energy, and vigour. We’re lazy. We’re always slow and calm and enjoying everything around us in an intoxicated stupor. The availability of sedatives and calmatives are overwhelming, and it has almost become the norm to meet socially and
‘Take the load off.’
Wines should be replaced with juice, just for a little while. I would like to see people happy and chirpy and dancing rather than sprawled out on couches, eating out of artificial hunger, and tapping their feet to electronic beats.
Juice, definitely. Also, when was the last time anyone really had juice (apart from breakfast, of course)? Isn’t it delicious? Or is that just me? I could gulp down a glass in seconds but with wine, I choke and splutter before I can even get a sip in. Obviously, that’s a personal err. But again, socially, being a teetotaler is abnormal, and even embarrassing at times, depending on the context. At what age does that end? At what age does not drinking begin to be cool?
Whatever the issues are, I think, no, I know, the world is in need of more juice. I recommend you pour a glass of your favourite one at a random hour of the day and relish the taste. It’s a refreshing feeling, I guarantee.
