Embracing My Embers Beyond the Panorama November 25, 2015

Embracing My Embers

The flames rise,

And sparks glint with savagery,

The oil burns everlasting

Embers grow passionate,

Its palms bring warmth.

Insulation from that despondent winter.

Fear not, go forth

It is but a light,

Fear not, go forth

It may actually bite

Conniving is the fire,

Charred is the beholder

Its talons claw ruthlessly

Fear not, go forth

For this too shall pass

Fear not, go forth

For its sustenance shall pass
