I never thought
This day would come; I always thought
He was the one.
He went ahead
And broke my heart;
He told me he didn’t love me From the start.
He broke my heart like glass
He shredded it like paper; My vision towards him
Began to taper.
I cried and cried
I screamed out loud;
My voice echoed
Through the alleys of the clouds.
I was foolish to think
He was the one;
He was just a storm
There were more to come.
