Infatuation

I ran left from that juncture,

Towards Cupid’s damned arrow.

And I ran, chasing a first love,

Streets were surprisingly very narrow.

One lane ran into a maze with another

And I lost my senses in the way;

I learnt to be obsessed and desperate,

But love was not meant to be that day.

And when the arrow shot another,

My blinds were removed without pain;

Though love refused to run with my fate,

I find myself in this juncture again.
