Luminous | Nidhi Raghuvanshi

poetry

He spent his life in misery

For the sake of earning his keep,

Couldn’t he make a move?

There was no faith to leap.

A chance or a hand of help

Would make a happy gain,

How could he win optimism?

The sluggish fortune would refrain.

The day he sought himself

Came the discovery of luminous life,

The light kept on radiating

Into a sword transformed a knife.

The sky was no longer blue or white

A bright and gleeful sun rose,

This shall now never ever set

On the luminous path he chose.
