Sit with Yourself

Written by Bella Fernandes

Take a moment for yourself from your busy schedule.

Walk bare feet and feel the dewy wet grass.

Pause and take a deep breath.

Smell the humidity in the air.

Wait patiently for the sun to set,

Because beautiful things come to those who wait.

Do not miss a single moment while it sets.

You’ll realise that it slows down the time.

Its warm colours hold some kind of magic.

As if the sky is blessing you for something.

And you are truly lost in that moment.

So, if you are a great observer,

You know that you’ll never experience the same sunset twice, every time it’s different and unique in its own way.

And the silent hour of night is when you realise that little things in life matters the most.

And also very little is needed to live a happy life.

These little things help us connect with our inner-self in depth, which is healing and calming. It is rare.
